Cauley wins 13th Terra Cotta Invitational

Bud Cauley, 18, of Jacksonville, FL, who will be attending Alabama in the fall won the 13th Annual Terra Cotta Invitational with a 54-hole score of 212, four under par. Cauley began the day tied with David Tobon a junior at Johnson & Wales Unversity-Miami. One shot back was Cory Whitsett, 16, from Houston, TX, the reigning US Junior Amateur Champion. Cauley and Whitsett arrived at the 17th tee tied and 4 under. Whitsett double bogyed the hole and fell to two under par and was tied with Tobon. Cauley made par on 18 and captured the coveted Terra Cotta Urn.
