Naples, FL - Emiliano Grillo, an 18-year old from Argentina, currently attending the IMG Academies in Bradenton, FL shot a solid 3-under 69 to win the 16th Terra Cotta Invitational by 1 shot over Patrick Rodgers, 18, from Avon, IN. Grillo held a three shot lead late in the round but Rodgers had a two putt birdie on the par 5 18th to close within two. Grillo had a bogey 6 on 18 but it was good enough for the win. Grillo's final score of 12-under par set a new tournament record. The previous record of -11 was shot by Peter Uihlein while winning in 2007. Grillo earned his European Tour Card and will be a member of the 2012 European PGA Tour.
